Digital Models

Prior to starting orthodontic treatment, we take impressions or molds of your teeth. Traditionally, orthodontic offices pour plaster into your impressions to produce a plaster model of your teeth. At Palmer Orthodontics we use a newer technique, whereby computer software is used to produce a three dimensional, digital representation of your teeth.

This allows Dr. Palmer to view and analyze your ‘digital teeth’ more accurately. The software can be used to view your teeth from every possible angle; in addition, to allowing Dr. Palmer to zoom in on individual teeth in order to maximize diagnosis of your treatment and ultimately reduce the total time you have to wear braces and overall appointments required to finish treatment!
